Slow food: Mezze
Slow food: Mezze
As you know, at Gazal Tours we firmly believe that travel is much more than visiting monuments. It wouldn't make much sense for us to talk so much about responsible tourism and recommend bars you can find by strolling through the city center, or those featured in countless videos on foodie Instagram accounts.
That's why today we want to tell you about Mezze, a gastronomic gem in Granada that you can't miss. When you enter the restaurant, it's as if time stands still: the soft background music and the intimate, ,tranquil atmosphere, allow you to relax from the hustle and bustle of daily life and , connect with friends and family,.
Mezze are small dishes shared in the center of the table, usually inspired by Mediterranean tradition. But at Mezze, they add a very special touch: all the food is vegan and gluten-free, and will appeal to everyone, from vegans to the more skeptical.
As they themselves explain, their essence lies in slow food: the tradition of sharing a meal through small, varied dishes, without rushing, making it much more than just a meal. It's about participating, pausing, disconnecting from the clock, and connecting with the person in front of you.
In addition to the regular menu, you can find suggestions on their chalkboard that change regularly, so you'll always find new dishes and options you haven't tried before.
Needless to say, besides the ambiance and the quality of the ingredients, their staff is very friendly, speaks ,English,, and will make you feel right at home.
The restaurant is located on Calle Laurel de las Tablas, and you can view their menu by clicking here.
Are you going to join the slow food experience?
